Rooted in the Western Way of Life

Howdy! My name is Jillian Ariss Jensen, and the western way of life has always been part of who I am. I grew up running around the concrete jungle of Fort Worth, Texas, but was fortunate to be immersed in the rodeo world early on. Through it, I learned the value of family bonds, deep heritage, and unwavering dedication.

I started riding before I could walk and began competing in barrel racing at the age of ten. Horses, hard work, and early mornings shaped me long before Ariss & Co ever existed—and those lessons still guide me today.

After graduating from Tarleton State and marrying my college sweetheart, my husband and I made our home in West Texas. Today, we raise and run our own cattle operation alongside our performance horses. Life here is honest. It’s demanding. And it teaches you quickly that shortcuts rarely lead to good outcomes.

That same mindset carries into everything I create.

Why Tallow

Tallow was introduced to me as a simple, non-clogging approach to skincare—something generations before us relied on without question. What many now overlook or dismiss as “worthless,” God originally designed with purpose and abundance.

Tallow is deeply nourishing and naturally compatible with the skin. When sourced responsibly and rendered with care, it stands as a reminder that nothing provided by the land should go to waste.
